Royal Enfield has always a weapon of choice among many; however the steep price tag meant it was meant only to those who could afford it. However this trend will end as Royal Enfield has launched the new 350X. Said to be the most affordable of the lot, the motorcycle is priced at Rs lakhs (ex showroom prices). The new affordable Bullet comes in two variants – 350X and ES 350X.
Visually the standard 350X gets blacked out elements for the front wheel protector, mirrors, engine and grab rail. It also gets a sticker logo instead of the 3D logo and black treatment for the spokes of the wheels. The ES 350X gets the same updates save for some chrome for the engine and spokes of the wheels along with an uncharged logo from the standard bike.
Buyers will also be glad to know that the new affordable range can be had in bright colours depending on the variant chosen. The 350X can be had Onyx black, Bullet silver and Sapphire blue. On the other hand the ES 350X comes in Royal blue, Jet black and Regal red.
Powering both the Bullet 350X and the ES 350X is the same single cylinder 346cc air cooled engine that puts out 19.8hp and 28Nm of torque. The engine also continues to be mated 5–speed transmission as standard.
