Royal Enfield has launched the much awaited new Continental GT 650 priced at Rs 2.50 Lakhs and the Interceptor 650 at Rs 2.65 Lakhs (ex showroom Goa). The new bikes have been launched in three trims – Standard, Classic and Custom.

Powering the motorcycles is a 650cc twin cylinder air cooled engine that produces 47 bhp at 7250rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 5250rpm the engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and assist feature Suspension duties are handled by 41mm forks with 110mm of travel and gas charged 5-stage pre loaded twin rear units.
Both the Continental GT 650 and the interceptor 650 come wrapped in Pirelli phantom Sportcomp tyres with 18 inch front and rear with 36 spoke allumium alloy wheels. Braking boost is provided by twin piston Brembo callipers with 320mm floating front and 240mm disc at the rear along with Bosch dual channel ABS as standard.
