Skoda launches Superb Sportline at Rs 28.99 Lakhs

Skoda has launched a swanky new variant in its flagship sedan line-up called the Superb Sportline priced at Rs 28.99 Lakhs for the petrol and Rs 31.49 Lakhs (ex showroom prices)

The new Superb Sportline will sit just below the top spec Lauren and Klement variant and gets a host of sporty changes over the standard superb sedan. The sedan receives gloss black treatment for the front grille, roof, wing mirrors, rear spoiler and even the side skirts. Further accentuating its sporty appeal, it also comes with black inserts for the headlamps and fog lamps as well. The Skoda Superb Sportline rides on 17-inch dual tone Darkon alloy wheels.

On the inside, the well appointed cabin of the Superb is carried forward to the Sportline trim but gets an all black treatment along with red accents all over. It also gets new Alcatraz Sport seats with memory function and power adjust for the front ones, carbon fibre trim on the dashboard, allumium pedals,  Superb branded LED ambient lighting and an 8.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system which comes with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and  Mirror link.

Under the hood however are the same 1.8 litre, four cylinder petrol and 2.0 litre TDI diesel motor. The 1.8 litre petrol produces 180 bhp and 250 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The 2.0 litre diesel on the other hand churns out 177hp and 350 Nm of torque and comes paired to a 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
