Skoda Auto is all set to bring back the Octavia 245 RS to the Indian market early next year. A new teaser revealed online confirms the sedans arrival with an auto expo launch is also very likely.
Tagged as the fastest Skoda in India, the teaser video partly reveals several design highlights of the car. Styling cues like the split LED headlamps chrome exhaust pipes, VRS moniker on the front grille, steering wheel, seat upholstery.
An interesting point to note is that the teaser also showcases the VRS drive mode switch on the inside. Skoda will shed more light on the function of the VRS drive mode switch upon launch.
Powering the most hotly anticipated car is a 2.0 litre TSI petrol motor that will churn out 242bhp and 370Nm of torque and come mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission as standard. While the enthusiasts start saving up for the car in the run up to the launch, the units allocated will be limited to just 200 units for the whole year.
