Tata Motors has unveiled the highly anticipated H2X hornbill concept at the 2020 Auto Expo in Delhi. The HBX may still be a concept but save for a few more design changes and its almost production ready this time around.
The HBX concept will sit under the Nexon in the automakers line-up and will be launched sometime in 2020. The SUV though is pretty large and gets an upright stance along with butch wheels and chunky body cladding and skid plates all around. It also has the Harrier inspired twin headlamp setup at the front, a slim front grille, floating roofline and small taillamp unique elements in them.
The interior of the HBX is made up of multiple layers and high quality bits, it gets a floating touchscreen infortainment system, squared out A/C vents, flat bottom steering wheel with controls to various functions and a Harrier inspired digital analogue instrument console.
Overall the cabin previews pretty much what to expect on the production car. Powering the HBX could be the 1.2 litre petrol motor from the Tiago and come mated to a 5-speed manual and possibly even an AMT as well.
