Tata Motors bags orders of over 2500 units’ of commercial passenger transportation vehicles

Continuing its commitment to provide best in class transport solutions for public transportation, Tata Motors has announced that the company is hard at work and in the process of delivering a massive order it has just received

The mammoth of the order comes from Gujarat State Roadways Transport Corporation (GSRTC) who have ordered 1045 busses comprising of 695 fully built Midi busses and 350 12m chassis. In addition 400 CNG BRTS busses will be delivered to Pune Mahagagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd. (PMPL)

The other big order has come from Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal and Haryana who have placed order for 1000 AIS 125 standard winger ambulances for under National Health Mission (NRHM). Another 812 will be delivered to Uttar Pradesh in the last quarter.
