The Nexon range will henceforth have two AMT variants – XMA & XZA+ and be offered in two engine options a 1.2L turbocharged Revotron petrol and 1.5L turbocharged Revotorq diesel motor. The 6-speed AMT also gets the 3 driving modes Eco, City and Sport while also featuring manual mode, crawl function and smart hill assist.
The mid spec XMA however misses out of the features offered on the top spec XZA+ like led daytime running lamps and diamond cut alloy wheels. However we expect a lot of momentum to gather round the XMA variant which is a whole 2 lakhs cheaper than the top spec XZA+ variant.
To further accentuate the Coupe like styling of the Nexon Tata Motors has introduced a new Ivory White colour option for the roof as an option. The feature list stays the same as the manual counterpart but gets 60:40 split seats and dual airbags with ABS standard.
The new Tata Nexon AMT XMA variant will compete head on with the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza AMT Vdi and Ford Ecosport automatic.
