Tata Motors has introduced a new XMS variant of the Nexon compact SUV in the Indian market. The XMS variant sits in between XM and XZ trims and is priced at Rs 8.36 lakhs and Rs 9.70 lakhs respectively.
The most notable feature in the Nexon XMS is the electric sunroof which until now was available only in the XZ+S and XZA+S trims. What you also get in the new variant are automatic headlights, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, rain sensing wipers, steering mounted controls and steering mounted controls among much more.
Mechanically same, the Nexon XMS can be had in petrol and diesel engine options, which is a 1.2 litre Revotron petrol motor with 118bhp and 170Nm of torque and a 1.5 litre Revotorq diesel making 108bhp and 260Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or AMT automatic gearbox.
