Tata Motors launches updated Tigor for Rs 5.20 Lakhs

After much teasers and videos released by the company, Tata Motors has finally launched the updated Tigor sedan priced at Rs 5.20 Lakhs for the 1.2 litre Revetron petrol and Rs 6.09 Lakhs for the 1.05 litre Revetorq diesel.

The new 2018 Tigor wears a sporty new Egyptian blue paint scheme along with chrome elements in the twin chamber projector headlamps. It also gets splashes of chrome on the bumper, door handles and front grille. Tata has also added a shark fin antenna, wing mirrors with LED turn indicators with auto fold function, clear lens taillamps and 15 inch dual tone alloy wheels.

Complimenting the stylish exteriors, the interiors of the facelifted Tigor have been crafted with finesse, the cabin now comes with Premium black and grey coupled with titanium faux leather upholstery for the seats. Additionally Tata has also thrown in a premium knitted roof liner and a rear armrest with cup holders.

The new Tigor also comes with next generation Harman sourced 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes equipped with Android auto along with 4 speakers and tweeters.

Safety has also been taken care of by Tata providing dual airbags as a standard feature and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Corner Stability Control (CSC).

Powering the latest iteration of the Tigor is the same set of 1.2L Revotron petrol and the 1.05L Revetorq diesel powertrains. However Tata says the engines have been further refined to provide lower NVH levels and optimized fuel effiencey with further improvements also done to reduce vibrations in the transmission assembly.

Tata Motors is offering the Tigor with 6 exciting shades – Egyptian Blue, Roman Silver, Espresso Brown, Berry Red, Pearlescent White and Titanium Grey.

Commenting at the launch, the newly appointed brand ambassador for the all new Tigor – Hrithik Roshan said, “I am really excited for the launch of the all new Tata Tigor. With its sleek design, fantastic interiors and superb sound system, I think this car is going to impress a lot of people, it definitely impressed me!”
