Tata Motors has launched a new special preview website for its highly anticipated premium hatchback, Altroz. The idea behind this new concept is to provide a glimpse of the product in the run up to its commercial launch preparations.
Tata Motors has disclosed that the Altroz will reveal itself gradually on its website condition it gets 100,000 clicks. However, with several Altroz fans visiting the website, Tata Motors crossed this milestone in a record time of 24 hours.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Head – Marketing, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, said, “This is an immensely proud moment for all of us at Tata Motors. To receive such a reception for Altroz, months before its launch, speaks volumes for the trust consumers have in our brand as well as in our products. Right from the unveiling of its concept at the Auto Expo last year, the Altroz has been a keenly followed product from our stable and the fact that we had to launch the website early due to such an encouraging response only validates that further. We hope the newly-launched website will continue to whet the curiosity of our followers and stakeholders alike by sharing timely information about the car, in days to come.”
First revealed as a concept at the 2018 Auto Expo, the Altroz has been tested for lakhs of kilometres to prove its worth in the competitive segment. Designed and developed using the brands Agile light flexible advanced architecture and the impact 2.0 design language the Altroz aims at reinventing the urban car design with sporty looks, futuristic interiors, class leading connectivity and thrilling performance.
The Altroz when launched will rival established products such as Honda Jazz, Hyundai Elite i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the Toyota Glanza. The Altroz is also expected to spawn a full electric or EV version that will go on sale at a later stage.
