Triumph launches Tiger 900 in Goa

Triumph has launched the new generation Tiger 900 in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 13.7 lakhs.

Bookings for the new Tiger range have also begun with the bikes also arriving at dealerships for display. The 2020 Triumph Tiger 900 range comprises of three trims – standard Tiger 900, Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 GT Pro.

Powering the Tiger 900 is a 3 cylinder engine; it produces 93.9bhp and 87Nm of torque and coupled to a 6-speed gearbox with wet clutch. The Tiger 900 Rally & GT receive Rain, Road, Off road and Sport, however the GT Pro brings in My Triumph connectivity, heated seat, fog lamps, tyre pressure monitoring system and Bi-directional quickshifter.

Built on a new tubular steel frame, the new Tiger 900 looks meaner with an all new twin LED headlight flanked by a large windshield and butch bodywork. There’s also a 7.0 inch TFT screen for all the instrumentation and other information read outs on offer.

The 2020 version of the Tiger 900 also gets a 20 litre fuel tank, Brembo brakes with 320mm disc at front and 255mm disc at the rear. Suspension duties for the Rally and Rally Pro include a fully adjustable 45mm USD fork at front and monoshock at the rear. The GT Pro though gets 45mm USD fork at front and pre-load adjustable monoshock at the rear.
