Volkswagen has launched the Ameo Corporate edition in the Indian market. The Corporate edition is sold exclusively only to corporate and business customers.
The Ameo Corporate edition can be had in the Highline Plus variant which means it carries forward the features list from the standard top end trim. It gets reverse parking camera, auto-folding wing mirrors, leather steering wheel, rain sensing wipers and cruise control. Also on offer are 16-inch alloy wheels.
The Ameo also uses a 1.0 litre petrol engine but puts out 76 PS @ 6200rpm and 95 Nm of torque. On the flipside the 1.5 litre diesel produces 110 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Transmission options for the petrol include a 5-speed manual, while the along with the 5-speed manual, the diesel also gets the option of a 7-speed DSG automatic.
