Yamaha Motorcycles have finally introduced the new R15 Version 3 in Goa. The Third generation R15 adopts the family design language with sharper and edgy styling and rides on an all-new Deltabox frame.
On the design front, the slim twin eye headlamps get dual LED and daytime running lights, while sporting an aerodynamic design. The seat is now taller by 815mm and offers more comfort. The 11-litre fuel tank has gills on it which look akin to the R1 but so does the taillight which is a LED unit. The R1 inspired cockpit features a coloured digital instrument cluster and displays information such as Shift light indicator and Variable valves indicator.

Powering the R15 V3 is a 4 valve 155cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine putting out 193hp at 10000rpm and 15nm torque at 6500rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are handled at the front by telescopic forks by monoshock at the rear while the bike is shod in MRF Tyres. Braking duties are taken care of by 282 mm disc at the front and 220mm at the rear.
The Yamaha R15 V3 is available in two dual tone colours namely Racing Blue and Thunder Grey and the bike is priced at Rs 1,25,000 (Ex showroom and 1,42,485 (On Road)
