First displayed at the 2018 Auto Expo in Delhi, Yamaha has launched the new Ray ZR Street Edition in India priced at Rs 57,898 (Ex showroom Delhi) . The new Ray ZR Street edition gets a redesigned front fairing said to be inspired by the MT-09 provides protection from the wind and the splashing of mud.

Mechanically the Ray ZR is unchanged and continues to draw power from its tried and tested 113cc air cooled single cylinder engine producing 7.2 bhp and 8.1 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a CVT automatic gearbox and returns 66kmpl.
The scooter rides on 90/100 tubeless tyres at front and rear and gets braking boost by 170mm disc brake at front and drum brake at the rear as standard.
